When someone insults you, it’s best to “turn the other cheek.”

I figure it best if someone insults you to just forget about it and move on , it's not really worth a fight. Some people live for this stuff they love to fight with other people and cause trouble, it's best not to get involved with that kinda thing.

The Family Younger was very insulted by Linders proposal, he was will to pay them to forget about moving into the house. But the Youngers held strong and didn't go for Linders offer, instead they invited him back over and told him they would be moving into that house and no amount of money could change there minds. So in away they did turn the other cheek and went on like nothing happen.

If you’re going to be successful, you have to take some big risks.

Wheel of Fortune, In this exciting risky game show contestants are asked a series of questions and must give the right answer to get more points. In order to get more money you have to bet it all or nothing, sometimes you have to take a big risk.If you land in the wrong spot you loose everything you have, sometimes life is like a big wheel you spin it and hope for the jackpot.

I compared the game show Wheel of Fortune to Walter Lee Younger, Walter is spinning his wheel trying to get the jackpot. When Walter gets his chance he bets all his money for his chance to make it big, but sadly just when he thinks he's gonna make it he lose all. But when he bets it all and loses he didn't just hurt himself he hurt everyone, he felt like a failure hurting the ones he cared about the most. But at the last minute he takes one last spin and hits the jackpot.

You should hold onto your dreams; if you work hard enough for them, they will come true.

When I think of holding onto your dreams , I think of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. Alice struggles to be something she's not and impress people she doesn't know,in this world she doesn't agree with.She is slowly loosing focus on her dreams and wants, trying to make everyone else happy. It takes a trip back to Wonderland for her to wake up and realize life is what you make it , be who you want to be do want you want to do. And most importantly never let go of your dreams and fight for them.


I compared Benetha Younger to Alice , Benetha has a dream and that dream is to be a doctor. But she has all these people tell her you can't be a doctor ,your a woman your black and poor. And at once point she starts to belive them , just like Alice she needed a trip to Wonderland to make her relize whats in front of her.And that she can be a doctor and she has what it takes to make her dream come true, you shoildn't care what other's think the only thing that mateer is what you think.
